Last weekend we blessed Ryker. Lots of friends and family were able to attend, and it meant so much to have their love and support for this exciting day.
Ryker was finally able to meet his Grandpa! It meant so much that my parents were able to make it up. He also got to meet Adam, as well as lots of other family and friends! My mom made his outfit and it was absolutely perfect! He was such a handsome little man!
We blessed Ryker in-between conference sessions on Saturday. Afterwards we had a luncheon in the gym. The food was delicious, and it was so fun to sit and chat with everyone.
Afterwards, we hung out at our house with family. All the cousins love to hold him, and he loves them! I have to tell a few stories about some of these pictures...
Top right: The only white tie I could find to finish off his adorable ensemble was a child size. So, this resulted in the knot being half the size of his head, and it being almost as long as him! No problem, we just tucked it into his pants! However when the pants came off I couldn't stop laughing at how cute this giant tie was on our little guy!
Bottom Middle: The next morning we went to breakfast at my sister's house with all of my family that was in town. All those that slept at my house slept in...whoops. As we were rushing to get everything ready to go, and neglecting poor Ryker, I walked in my bedroom to find his two adorable cousins trying to console him! Olivia was talking to him and trying to get him to take his pacifier, while Gavin was holding his hand and pointing out his toys! So sweet!
Bottom Right: After conference on Sunday we had dinner with my family, and a birthday cake for Gavin's first birthday. Unfortunately none of the cake actually made it into his mouth! Isn't he adorable?!
Thanks to all our friends and family that made this such a special weekend for us! We love you!
