Adelyn is just a week shy of being 18 months old! She goes to nursery, is jabbering up a storm, and is such a blessing in our lives. Here are her stats and a few tidbits to remember...
Stats
Height: 32.6 in (80th percentile)
Weight: 23.1 lbs (35th percentile)
Head: 18.6 in (75th percentile)
She has a SMILE that just melts your heart.
She will CUDDLE with you, give you kisses, noozles, and hugs.
We think her little FACE is so adorable!
She loves all her BOOTS, as do I! They are so cute I can hardly stand it. She walks around saying "boots, boots". However, the second you get in the car she strips down as much clothing and shoes as she can. It's super irritating.
She has started throwing really dramatic TANTRUMS. She drops to the ground all dramatic like...
...and rolls around on the ground while whining...
...until she gets over it and then she rolls around just to have fun and then stands back up and goes about her merry way.
She loves to be OUTSIDE. If the door is open, she makes a run for it.
She is a TRICKSTER! She loves to tease by making funny faces at you, running away from you, hiding from you when you are trying to change her diaper or get her dressed, and she loves to bug Ryker especially if they are sitting by each other in the car or stroller.
She is TALKING up a storm and still using some signs. However, not as much as Ryker was talking at this age so it can be a little frustrating to understand what she wants.
She is so FRIENDLY. No stranger anxiety here. She struts around Sacrament Meeting stepping into any pew that will let her in. She says "hi" to everyone and will climb up onto random people's lap for them to read her a story. Cute but a little unnerving at times too!
She gets JEALOUS when I'm holding another baby.
She got her first real TIME-OUT today for biting Ryker.
She is getting 2 more TEETH.
She has developed some really funny FACIAL EXPRESSIONS that have yet to be caught on camera. They are hilarious. One is a super duper cheeser. One is when she knows she is in trouble, and one is her dramatic pout face. She squints her eyes and pokes out her lips.
The most IRRITATING things about her is the second you get into the car she takes off her shoes, socks, hat and/or hair bows and throws them all around. Super irritating when running errands. The second thing is her whining when you don't know what she wants.
If she gets HURT she will pucker up and kiss herself better.
She still LOVES to sing songs, read books, play with toys, carry around as many stuffed animals as her little arms can carry, eat, do her own buckles (for her high chair, stroller, and carseat), be outside, and play with her cousin. The other day she was throwing a fit because she wanted to stay at Ryker's preschool. All I had to say was, "do you want to go see Lyla?" She said yes and hopped right up.
I wish I could capture and remember every little thing about her. Sean is so in love with her it's the cutest thing. We just ADORE our little lady!
**I remembered something else after I posted this...
She LOVES to WALK wherever we are going. She will rarely let you carry her. She will scream and whine "walk, walk" until you let her. Then, if you get too far ahead of her she will just plop down on the sidewalk, middle of the store, etc. until you stop to wait for her to catch up. It's a slow and slightly irritating process to get anywhere!

LOVED all your updates! Reading your blog makes me feel really sad that we don't live closer to everyone. We are so excited to see you all in a few short weeks!
She is so adorable and I love her outfits! It makes me want to have a girl... but then Everett wakes up from his nap and I change my mind :)
