This one's all about the little man...
For Ryker's update I decided to interview him to see what he had to say...
What is your favorite color?
"Blue"
What is your favorite book?
"Jamberry"
What is your favorite movie?
"The Incredibles"
Who is your best friend?
"My cousins"
What is your favorite thing to do?
"Go to preschool"
What do you want to be when you grow up?
"Spiderman"
What is your favorite animal?
"Zebra"
What is your favorite sport?
"Baseball"
What is your favorite song?
"The Superhero Song" (one he made up when I asked him this question)
What is your favorite food?
"Dutch Babies"
A few more things about him...
We love how he says "gerola" for granola, "bamana" for banana, and "cunkies" for comfy clothes. I think the term cunkies will forever stick in our household.
His tantrums are starting to slim down...knock on wood.
He loves to paint, color, play board/card games, be read to, build forts, and pretend. He has really loved horses lately. He has also entered a stage where he plays the rescuer (a prince, a superhero, etc.) and rescues people.
This is a horse he made himself on the couch...
He can be very particular and likes to organize things in categories (color, shape, etc.) or make shapes out of his toys (lines, suns, circles,).
He loves to play outside, hike, and play sports.
We have been talking about the change of seasons and he is very excited for all the holidays coming up, especially Halloween and Christmas. He talks about them almost daily.
His vocabulary continues to grow and surprise me. Several weeks ago he used "automatically" in a sentence. Sometimes he uses wrong words for what he is trying to say and it's almost always pretty funny.
For some reason he hates to have his hair spikey so whenever we get home from being out he asks if he can wear a hat to make it flat again.

He's in the phase where he asks "why" to everything.
What do YOU think we should remember about Ryker?

I bow before your blog; it's too awesome! Nice work!
Ryker has always impressed me with his talking skills! And him and Wesley just get along so well. I'll also always remember the way he says, "Christi" to get my attention; he'll repeat it til I respond, and it's so cute the way he says it! He's a good kid!
