Playing Catch-Up

Life sure has been crazy lately! Between finals and the holidays there has been little time for anything else. Here are just a few things I wanted to catch up on...

TEMPLE SQUARE is one of my favorite places to visit during the holidays. This year was a blast. We had an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" with some good friends and then headed to Temple Square to see the lights. Ryker was a total trooper with the cold weather.

CHRISTMAS this year was so much fun with the little man. He didn't quite get the whole idea of opening presents, but was really excited once he realized there was something fun under the wrapping paper. His favorite gift from mom and dad was this little walker...

One of my favorite memories from this Christmas morning was watching Ryker turf it in our front room. It went something like this: Ryker really excited about his new toy. Ryker plowing through the pile of wrapping paper laughing at himself as he did so. Ryker getting a little over-zealous with his new toy as he runs through the front room, loses his balance, and does a nose dive on the carpet leaving his first Christmas war-wound in the form of a carpet burn on his nose!

The remainder of Christmas Day consisted of a major snow-storm; watching my brother-in-law, hubby, and friendly neighbor dig us out; and lounging around with family and good food. It was a great day!
