Eight is Great

Our little lady is 8 months old!  Here are a few things that sum her up this month...

HAPPY is how you can usually find her.  She is quick to smile and has a great giggle.

However, she has gotten a little more SASSY this month.  She'll tease you and throw little tantrums that last about 5 seconds until she realizes it's not worth it.  It's pretty hilarious.  I still can't take her seriously when she throws fits because it's so unlike her.

TORTURED is how she feels when getting her face wiped or when getting a bath.  However, we have found she'll tolerate baths in the kitchen sink.

She is SPEEDY as can be when crawling and has learned to pull herself up to a standing position and close doors.

She is a good EATER!  She loves to feed herself any type of finger food...which is why I often find her chomping away on things she finds on the floor like its chewing gum.  Her favorite lately has been pieces of the wicker baskets from our entertainment center.  It's been motivation to vacuum more often!

TEETHING might explain some of her new found sassy-ness.  There's been boogers and drool galore, but no new teeth have popped through yet.

She is starting to put up a FIGHT with her naps, but still sleeps about 12-13 hours at night.

She LOVES her big brother!  Her favorite place to play is in his room and no one can get her to giggle like he can!

She's a fun one to have around.  I think we'll keep her!
