Just a Glimpse...

Today I got my first glimpse of what Ryker will be like as a big brother. It was the first time we had my adorable niece over. The whole time she was awake he was playing with her and being so sweet. He kept trying to share his toys and blankets with her and even pulled up his little chair by her to read her a book! He felt it very important to teach her what a circle was. If she fussed at all he would jump up, lean over her and in a soft voice say, "It's ok Lyla, it's ok. Don't be sad." He kept pushing the buttons on the bouncer to make the music play and would tell her, "Look at the pretty river Lyla." It really was adorable. Let's hope he is just as sweet with his baby sister!
